Forever transfixed
On your trusting stare
My visions of you
No one can compare
I need no reasons
When I'm next to you
You give me valor
When life proves untrue
But still I'm alone,
No where to hide
From this pain deep down
And emptiness inside
You claim that I have
The love that I long
But still I'm inclined
To write you this song
The day that I'm with you
I never could miss,
Because then none could ever
Be any better than this
