My Dying Rose

This poem is written for my dying rose,
In her heart spills the sadness in prose,
The written words from a dying heart,
One that often feels torn apart.
She weeps when she is alone,
Gently crying in her sweetest tone,
For she carries so much hurt & sorrow,
That makes her never want to face a tomorrow.
Her voice is like that of a heavenly being,
From her soul her happiness is fleeing,
For so many long & painful years,
She has fought & held in all her tears.
For she was scared that if she split a drop,
That her blue fountain would never stop,
She once tried to take her own life,
Not by a bullet or a kitchen knife.
But by the help of a handful of pills,
As she was sick of being mentally ill,
All she wanted was to feel some kind of inner peace,
Her only way was to become deceased.
But her attempt wasn’t that of a success,
As she is still here wearing heartache’s dress,
Upon her skin she bears many scars,
As once with suicide she almost made a par.
My dying rose is that of a fighter,
Above anything else she is also a writer,
I pray for one day my dying rose breaks free,
As the dying rose that I speak of is me.

| No, no no no no.....yes you are a great writer..but you will not wilt and die. I forbid it. If I have to stay on this hellhole of an earth and feel the pain and anguish I do..than you hang on with me kiddo!!! we're all in the same ocean, just in different boats.. Grab ahold of mine and climb in!!! Don't let such a beautiful rose wilt. come onnnnnnnn |

This write gave me the chills at the end!! Such a sad write! I totally understand how you are feeling. I felt the same way yesterday. "Bleeding Rose" is what came out of me as my pen mingled with paper. Writing is such a wonderful outlet to your emotions; never stop doing it. You are very talented with creating images in the mind, and rhyming... Absolutely wonderful! i enjoyed this. I give you all my blessings and hope. Many sympthies, pixie. The skies will brighten one day, and your "wilting rose" will flourish once more...

Now look here. I may not really know you, but I can tell you that I too have to stay on this earth, and you get to stay here with us! as bear said we are all in one big ocean...climb into my boat and i shall help you. Suicide is not the way out. And you shall flourish once more. All it takes is time, and the right people and Friends. Ever need to talk I'm here.

| I am speechless after reading this... So truthful & screaming with pain... I hope that the rose will live on and fight... There are better times to be had if we hold on tightly & close our eyes... it is only our dreams that provide us with hope a happiness & love... |

Aww pixie That was so vey sad.
The rose inside will bloom and these feelings will give way to happier times.
We all seem to go through stages in life yours is at a bad time.
But good times will come hold in in there hun.
Brilliant write so heartfelt it made me cry.
