Six months of sunsets, and half a continent's breadth haven't diminished my love for you.
If anything they've only aggravated it.
Time was supposed to heal, all this, but it hasn't.
I'm still tattooed by your touch,
Indented with the evidence of lying close to you so often for so long.
Even my mind is shaped to fit your memory.
Still, if loving you has deformed me, then let me be an invalid for life.
Let time take it's healing hands somewhere else.

Really like the last stanza.
"Deformed" was quite
striking in its use there.

Gosh, this tugs at me. Anyone that has ever truly loved and lost will appreciate the emotion here.
Very expressive, and quite moving.
