Bleeding Rose

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Monday, 18th October 2004 @ 02:41:41 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

The rose is spilling blood; even though she is dead…
Eyes are weary from the crimson tears she has shed…
Blinded by the past and blurred,
These windows to the soul are shuttered one last time…
Voices inside shatter and crack,
Shards of pain waiting to be trod upon…
There is nothing left for her in this horrid world,
Darkness, her only sanctuary…
Mutilation, her only comfort…
Ridding her of all the anguish inside,
But only for a moment…
It all comes back in the end…
A scar for each time he ****** her,
14 and still counting…
Black is her heart, empty is her vile body…
Nothing special about her…
Her inner-light, once radiant,
Now distinguished…
All hope is lost,
And living life is starting to be a harder task…
Broken and battered,
Sprawled helplessly on the cold floor…
Another night of “lessons”,
Never will she learn…
Everything is her fault,
The world mercilessly put upon her weak shoulders,
And she falls again…
Punishment for her sinning, for her treason…
It’s all just one big show,
A joke, this life…
A mask, this smile…
That deity she once loved and believed in,
Abandoned her, neglecting her reckless cries…
Forever in the bitter embrace of the Monster,
Her perpetual Master…
Bound to him,
Steel cuffs get tighter each day…
The wings, once so lovely,
Are now torn off in remorseless rage…
A life to be lived HIS way,
And HIS way only…
Lies are fed in forced spoonfuls,
Drinking it all in,
Flowing through her dry veins…
That’s all her life is,
A lie…
Deceiving all with her bright eyes and sparkling smiles,
But deep down,
Behind all the makeup and hoax,
All is dead…
All is dark; a tattered soul…
Voices whisper, egging her on…
“Do it. End it all. You know you want to!”
She nods her head,
Tears trailing across her hot cheeks…
That is all she wants…
A peaceful end…
To be finally set free,
And fly…
No one to hold her back,
No one to tell her No…
No one to hear her last goodbye,
For she lived alone, and alone was meant to die…

~*The rose shall bleed forevermore*

WOW!! I love this one. It's very powerful, poignant, beautiful, yet tragic. And I love the title, and how it comes in at beginning and end the poem.

Life can be healed. It does not have to be black and white. Bleeding from inside.

There is always another way.
You can be safe and live in the totality of possibilities.
You have such a creative beautiful talent and your love shines from the sky above.
You are truly a remarkable person
May all be well in your heart and may you take back all the power that reined away from you forever and live in the light.
Tears are the river of life shed in joy and sadness.

This rose does not need to bleed forever more
Allow new life to flow through her veins

Lots of love

Sweetangelukxxxxx

Nay, dear one ... for as suredly as Hope abounds, the creator guides many the hand of those tending gardens. Would that my arms could reach to distant shores, a hug to you would I send. And perahps you could find solace here in my arms. And peace, and comfort, untill you're ready to fly free once again. Remember precious flower, tis oft most difficult to view the painting from within but those of us from without, can see the beauty that is you.

Nazmythian ~
