I Want To Tell You My Secret

I want to tell you my secret,
But I can't bring myself to do it,
Every time I see your sweet words,
I always seem to back out of it.

I want to tell you my secret,
For it hurts to keep inside,
But I don't want to take the risk,
Of losing you as a friend.

I want to tell you my secret,
My heart says I should,
But I can never bring myself to do it,
So I guess maybe some things
are just better off left unsaid.

It's such a dilemma isn't it Kassidi and can be risky...I've been bitten many times...but there are people out there whom you can trust...I suppose you have to rely on your own judgement and instincts. A very good poem...well done.

well written.....look at it this way ...a true friend you can tell anything to and they will be there for you,if not they were never a friend in the first place.
