In love with the Devil

Contributed by Rxqueen on Monday, 18th October 2004 @ 03:45:44 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

You want our souls to be interwoven
into the flawless silk night sky
to whisper in the darkness
like the flirting lights of fireflies
wouldn't the thought be so lovely
wouldn't we be in bliss
so its a shame that your really the demon
and I am in love with your kiss

You crept into me like a disease
festering and waiting
all along the take over
you sat plotting and anticipating
Slowly you took my heart
for you and only you to keep
you said you would look after it
but instead you let it weep
you sat it down in a stagnant pool
mutilating it with lies
all the while smiling and grinning
looking into my eyes

It is too late for me to go
I am tainted and full of your parasite
So I let my self be taken over
by you, the demon of the night

and now that I am yours alone
in this morbid love affair
do you really still think
we make a beautiful pair?

This is stunning, and I am so sorry that people haven't been commenting on it, It could have just been a bad day, I am also sorry I missed this.
This is worth a definate '5''
The flow is stunning and I couldn't stop reading, and the words just seem to work together perfectly.
I adore this.
I wouldn't change any of it.
Great write,

The first stanza really
captured my interest.

The second stanza
only intensified it.

An excellent poem.

Absolutely perfect. In my opinion, it should be turned into a metal song:) And then it would be a great success.
