I Love You, Mom
More than words can say,
You’re what makes me who I am.
Without you, I don’t know what I’d be like,
I just can’t understand.

I try my best, Mom,
I don’t mean to yell,
I try to be home with you all,
I don’t mean to leave,
To boss around,
I try not to let my strength fall.

I hope that you know
I am trying these things,
Trying to obey you each day.
I’m trying to be good,
In all that I do,
Whether I’m at school, or work, or play

Happy Birthday Mom,
I hope that it’s good,
I hope that today you can rest.
Mommy, I love you,
And just want you to know-
That of all Moms—YOU’RE THE BEST.
