It's You

Contributed by discantbelife on Sunday, 17th October 2004 @ 09:14:50 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Its me im so in love,
But it seems like what i give him is never enough.
I always try to figure out what i can do,
But he faithfully replies "Its You"
I've given him all that i have,
But still i seem to make him mad.
All the beating and all the abuse,
All because sex i choose to refuse.
At night i find myself asking God for help,
But some how it seems he makes me do it my self.
I discovered a way of hurting him,
But i'm the one committing the self abuse sin.

I'm so in love with him,
But nothing i do is ever good enough.

I tried to be the best girlfriend,
But i feel like i fail at the end.
I continued to stay there,
And now i'm here,
Writing a confession and suicide note,
And i quote...
No matter what i do you always complained "Its You"

It's me i'm so in love,
But no matter what i do it's never good enough.

Sweetie, forget him! It will only get worse. And someone as talented as yourself is destined to find someone better... My friend was in an abusive relationship that started off slow but in the end he would lock her up in her room for days, would beat her so bad she would have to go to the hospital... now he's in jail for attempted murder (hers) and she STILL goes and sees him in jail! Don't get stuck. Get out while you can. Besides that... your poem was really good. Very emotional. Brave of you to write it, thank you for sharing!
