The dawn has come

I dream for better days
than ones that came before
I hasten to the dawn
to renew dreams once more
As winter turns to spring
my sorrow turns to song
I hear the sparrow sing
as I approach the dawn
Continually I try
to see the best in life
though dreams do pass me by
I strive to do what''s right
I''m only but a man
and mistakes do I make
I hope you will forgive
when ever I lose face
Dreams rise up like the flowers
with in the times of spring
refreshing times have come
a time when I can sing
The winds now blows softly
away my troubles shrink
I made it to the dawn
and now my heart can sing
I made it to the dawn
and now my heart can sing
Sing songs of summer
The night time''s over
Sing gleeful solace
Joy is replenished
The night was hard and long
but it is finally o''re
the promised dawn has come
bringing a time of song
I''ll sing the whole day long
I made it through the storm

This is a good poem filled with clarity.
However, the obscene reference to the
night was rather inappropriate...just kidding!
Keep up the good work, my good man! |
