I drifted in and out of consciousness.
Through the hues of pinks and blues,
I found solace.
The haze procured and obscured.
Rationality and reason had expired.
The waves on the wall swirled and swelled,
and my mind was shelled.
I'm floating over this bed,
and out of my head.
The haze suddenly cleared,
and the storm that took me in had passed
beyond the wire.
I was aware, but impaired,
and left unprepared.
But surely, I was inspired.
