My voice is but an echo
faded by an obstacle
-my own mind
My voice is but a shadow
hidden and still
my voice, I wait to find
My voice is but a mirage
eager to appear
and lifetimes of silences
sit, waiting to be pierced

crap! that was awesome! way better than mine. i bet we had different reasons, though. i combined my strep- throat with my anger and out came that crap, but yours has a lot more... i dont know... depth.
