Who Are You?

Contributed by Live2Die on Sunday, 17th October 2004 @ 01:05:06 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Who are you?
Was the question.
Whispered.
Behind the curtains.
Darting.
Around the corners.
Who are you?
Was the question.
Hidden.
Behind every door.
Lurking.
In the shadows.
Who are you?
Was the question.
Tucked.
Beneath the blankets.
Threaded.
Into every wisp of air.
Who am I?
She thought to herself.
But every time she searched for an answer,
It darted back.
Into the shadows.
Behind the curtains.
Always one step ahead.
Never being found.

This is a great poem especially for a beginner! I'm new at this site as well and only started writing now, but I tell you once you get the flow you're moving!

Welcome to YPDC, Live2Die!

I like this a lot. It's hard to explain... but... it feels sort of familiar... like - if I looked in my journal from a few years back (OK... LOL... MANY years back), I'd probably find a similar conversation with myself. For some bizarre reason, my journal seems to be filled with more questions than answers... and... I'm happy to see that it's not just me.

Great write... and not to sound cliche, but, I think I get where you're coming from.

Love it! More great work. =) It really speaks to me...that's tough trying to figure out who you are or who someone else is.
