Against my shyness
I must confess
That I’m fond of Tess
From my darkness
Wihtout seeing her, a day
Is a very long way
Filled with sorrow
Until tomorrow
Hoping to cross her gaze
Even in a maze
With no way to get nearer
And no way to hear her
The sun glows
Warmer as Spring grows
But winter will last
Till I see her at last
My memory dims
While time streams
All days monotone
Letting me alone
No hope to be seen
For I stay in the shade
Completely unseen
Playing with a blade
No hope to be heard
For I fail to break the silence
Muttering behind my beard
Words with no sense
No hope to be chosen
For I stay behind
That mask time has frozen
Locked in my mind
I lost my light
Without any fight
Always going down the slide
Toward suicide
Whatever you dread of
Whatever you tell
Life is what you’ve made of
Your personal Hell
