Angst is fine in today’s society
No single worry of brainless propriety
May have an attack of mild anxiety
But that’s only how life is

Deny a child a toy and you hear screams
Go hiking up a mountain and you’ll see streams
If you’re lucky when you sleep you’ll have dreams
But that’s only how life is

A laugh and a giggle is quite alright
Mediocre entertainment available in-flight
Still have the decency to be polite
But that’s only how life is

No one knows what the future will bring
My only hope is that I won’t have to sing
My lord coffee is an amazing thing
But that’s only how life is

This made me feel quite odd....
there's such a mix of emotions in here...
anger, ignorance, scorn, bliss....
and all in such a lightly woven pattern that still manages to sink in so well...

my respects....
