When he left
I just said goodbye
Didn't show that I cared that he was going away
I looked back on all the good times
When we fought and we laughed
And sometimes were nice
You only were nice when you wanted me to help
Play football with you or throw a ball around
You made me call and order your pizzas
Helpless big boy didn't like to pick up the phone
As your innocent little sister which you would laugh at now
I was sad that you left, but you wouldn't know that now
Whenever you come home
My heart jumps with joy
I wish that you could stay, but I act like I don't want you there
You never say I love you
Even to your mom
At the wedding of our cousin
You danced with a girl
I was jealous because I asked you to dance
You turned me down and threw me around
It made me feel hurt that you wouldn't dance with me
But I just moved on and walked away
If only you knew
How much I loved you
But you know that I do
Because I have told you
You said I hate you
I don't love you back
One simple I love you was all that I asked
Why couldnt you just say it
Once was enough
You didn't so it made me feel unloved
Blaming everything that happened on me
Never wanted me to be free
How could you do all of this to me
And just go away and leave
At college you are there
Calling mom everyday
Telling her things like my rent is paid!
One day you talked to me for a minute or so
But that minute was the best I didn't want you to go
Here I am all alone
Left with my mom and sister, but no you
You left not only me, but you left a family
Going to college is a good thing, but not if you didnt want me to see you
All of my emotion has not been said
You laugh at me because of the hair on my head
You make simple comments that are not sweet
And expect me to help you whenever you need
Walking away without a goodbye
I ran to my room and started to cry
How could you be so mean and not give one simple goodbye
I don't hate you, but I don't love you
People ask if I miss you and I tell them no
But in my heart I really do
I really do love you
Never one hug did you ever give
We used to have fun when we were just kids
You told me you didnt know any better then
The pictures tell a different story
But don't worry it is all through now
You are gone and I am happy
Goodbye the one have fun in school
Fail a class and break a rule
And in the end when you make it through
Remember the one that was there for you
