As the rain slowly starts to fall
Like the tears in my eyes
The flowers are place with such gentle care
This marks the spot of a gentle man
Now life starts a new
No more dads to turn to
No one to ask what to do
No more rough hands to hold on to
No more kisses that says good night
No more big hugs to hold you tight
No one to help when you have been in a fight
No one to talk to whether you're wrong or right
But one thing I do have that no one can take
The memories of a good man that I hold in my heart
And as long as I hold them we will never be apart
