My precious baby girl, a sweet baby boy
You bring my heart such wonderful joy
Your precious hands and sweet smiles
Make my life so worthwhile
There has been times Mommy felt lost
I never realized your painful cost
I never meant to hurt you, I never meant to lie
But Mommy hurt so very deep inside
Alhough I made the choices that caused such pain
My love for you was never in vein
Regardless of the mistakes I made
Your unconditonal love you still gave
For the love I have inside my heart
Gives me hope and strength to never again be apart
From this day forward, I promise
Mommy will never again be so selfish
I will try my hardest, every second of everyday
To never again from you astray

| I liked this. I bet I'll wind up feeling the same way one day. It's easier to relate to the child's view though, cause I haven't left that far behind. |
