All Because She Left Me

Contributed by TheLastStringCut on Friday, 15th October 2004 @ 10:04:59 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

If I ever kill myself
This page is what you'll see
If I ever kill myself
This'll tell you all about me

Throughout my life I've never been
All-too happy, I had little friends
I wasn't very social and constantly plotted
My very own death, as time allotted
My very own body, a flesh and bone cage
As time went on, I became filled with rage

I never had a girlfriend, a lover neither
'Til I was in highschool, but hell, not 'til I was a Junior
After she broke my heart I felt I should die
But there was one I met, she kept me alive
A goddess of beauty, a voice of an angel
She gave me hope, brought me something substantial

We went to my room and started kissing
I stopped her and asked, "Ami? Will you go out with me?"
"Of course!" She said as a blush crept 'cross her face
Her smile warmed my heart, her movements filled with grace

You see, throughout my life I've never been
All-too happy, 'til I got a girlfriend
The moments we share mean everything to me
Every second spent with her's a great memory

So if I ever kill myself
This page is what you'll see
Coated in blood and tears
All because she left me...

dying for someone is honorable, but there is no reason to die because of someone. the future promises nothing, you have to make the promise yourself.

I liked the poem a lot, but hope to god you don't kill your self over a high school girl. Sure she was your first love, but the great thing about love is it is everywhere "we spend all of our time going out of our minds looking for love, but while we're too busy looking we don't realize what we're over looking" having a girlfirend isn't important all the time. I shoudl know, I went from guy to guy through highschool, and yeah sure i had a boy friend, but i never knew who I was alone. When I finally said this is it, I am going to be single! Be free and have fun! And I did. Well 8 months later I met my future husband. You can't give up. If she doesn't want to be with you anymore, then do you really wnat to even be with her? If she can't accept every aspect of YOU then you shouldn't hold out for HER. Keep yer head up sweetness. There are a billion ladies out there that would love to have a guy as sentimental and poetic and sensative as you. Seriously! BUt wow, long comment, sorry, anyway, it was a really good poem!
