The thoughts came racing into my mind...
The thoughts that took me back in time....
A time of loneliness,
When I needed a friend...
A time of hurting,
And the pain wouldn't end...
It will always be there,
Yet I try so hard...
So there's no need to ask,
Why I don't let down my guard...
For the fear of pain is always on my mind...
And also the fear of going back in time...
