I wish you were here to scratch my back
it's so hard to reach
so I have to use the taps or soap rack!
I wish you were here to platt my long blonde hair
my fingers can't bend properly
so I have to leave it messy to wear
I wish you were here to help me build the cubby
it takes ages to erect alone
where is my hubby with that stubby?
I wish you were here to lift the pool table
I need it in that other room
and my back feels it's now disable
I wish you were here to hug me at night
I feel lonely and cold
and the bed bugs bite tonight
I wish you were here to control our teenage kids
they say that I am weak
so I put on my parental skids
I wish you were here so we both could chat
sitting close smiling
oh I really miss that!
