The days are warm,
Laughter, Sun.
But that's only when
our friendship has begun
The nights grow colder,
the secrets let out,
And all I do is worry,
and worry about.
What can I do
to help you along?
Write you a poem,
or sing you a song?
Tell you I love you,
That I'm always there?
Or does it just help,
that I actually care?
Please don't have problems,
bring back the light,
We'll wake up to a new day,
After we say goodnight.

Beautifully written... almost sounds like something I'd write... I... too... have a lot of friends with problems right now...
What can you do? Listen? Pray? Be there for them? Love tem? Even from afar?

| This is EXACTLY what it is like for me when my friends are going through tough times. I feel terrible for them and I can't think of ways to make the pain stop. I think all you can really do is let them know that you are there for them if they need to talk. |
