Stuck in a dark hallway, All doors locked
Voices of everyone I care for surround me
Sounds like theyre having a ball without me
I bang on the doors, Slamming my bloody fists against each one
Alls I hear is laughter. Doors dont even budge
Screaming my heart out. Making everyone hear my cries
HELP! SAVE ME! LET ME OUT OF HERE!
yet all I hear is more laughter.
Does it amuse everyone to heaar me suffer?
I thought you cared for me
We promised to always to be there for each other.
Now all you do is laugh as I weep.
Stuck in this dark hallway. All doors locked
Why wont anyone let me in, Instead of shutting me out
As I lay here crying and suffering, everyone laughs
Once Im gone hurtful comments spread
What did I do to you? Is it such a crime to be me?
Im always there for you why cant you just be here for me?
Just used as backup. Used for support.
Now that you dont need me you shut me out.
Throwing away the keys. Now you laugh as I suffer
Stuck in this dark hallway. All doors locked
Dont even bother to scream for help. Dont even want help
Now I see that I am unwanted.

Great poem. I like the subject, it is something that should be addressed more, since many people feel this way at some point.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
