I was living in darkness; You brought me the light...
I was hateful; From you I learned about love...
I was mean; From you I learned about kindness...

I was angry; You taught me to laugh...
I cried a tear; You dried it...
I thought I was ugly; You showed me what true beauty is...
I was sexless; You made love to me...

I was feeling ignored; You gave me attention...
I was sad; You brought me so much happiness...
I was tough; You gave me such tenderness...

a very good if somewhat long poem. I
enjoyed it which was odd since I usually don't
like poems like this. It reminded me of the
Psalms and the Song of Solomon in the Bible
for some odd reason. Anyway very good
poem.

| fantastic write. im not one to like love poems, but i liked this one. this is a fine example of how much of an influence someone can be in your life, and im glad that its the good kind in yours. |
