No-one Would Listen

Contributed by skyblumoon on Thursday, 14th October 2004 @ 12:35:06 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

They have eyes but their blind
They have ears but their deaf
They have voices but their mute

They see the tears on our cheeks
They see the pain in our eyes
They see the fear on our faces
They see the bruises on our bodies
They see it all, but they pretend to be blind
so they don't have to seeour pain

They have eyes but their blind
They have ears but their death
They have voices but their mute

They hear our cries
They hear our stories
They hear all the yelling & screaming
They hear things breaking & banging around
They hear it all but they pretend
to be death so they won't hear
our tortured cries

They have eyes but their blind
They have ears but their death
They have voices but their mute

I try to tell grown-ups what's happening
I try talk to people
I act out
I try so hard to be seen & heard
But they all pretend to be mute
no one will speak out for us

They have eyes but their blind
They have ears but their death
They have voices but their mute

its a sad thing that it happens too. children deserve better than that, it ruins most for life. why do parents think they have the right to ruin their own child's life?

Very sad but true. It's happens to often that grown-ups turn the other way. You should get this published so maybe poeple will pay better attention from now on.
