I reach out with my soul...tangible,
To make it mine!
The dawn comes quickly with its sunrise.
A day begins an aura so sublime...
Birds will chirp their morning greeting.
Creatures of the day will make their meeting.
The night surrenders all it's claim, to any shadow,
other than its's name.
The gardens of my world...
are dressed for springtime.
Each flower haloes my delight!
They stand to bloom and fade...
knowing full their purpose and their plight.
To say my morning prayers...I have opened up my eyes,
my ears, my heart.
My words, a quiet thank you.
Now day has had its start.
Blessed in nature's splendor...my soul is thus engendered!
Peace is full...to what content.
I only borrowed...what Heaven lent.
