The citizens of Los Angeles promptly awake
To put on slippers, read the paper, whatever.
They get into their tin can like shells and chart off to work.
Where they watch the clock, have meetings, whatever.
Bob in accounting punches numbers all day.
Click-click-clickidy-clack goes the calculator, whatever.
Andrea a doctor listens to hearts all day.
Bump-bump-bumpidy-boomp goes the heart, whatever.
And in all this normalness lives seldom few.
Who have too much on their mind to say, “whatever.”
They fester and feel pain every minute
But no cares so whatever.

Isn't so true? You really captured a part of our reality. People don't have the time, and those that do have the feelings. |
