Find Me...

Contributed by XxNights_ChildxX on Wednesday, 13th October 2004 @ 06:03:53 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

As I stand here holding my own body against the wind,
It seems Im always standing alone fighting this fear within,
I just wish that someone was brave enough to stand up and fight,
To pick up my shattered pieces and to go and make everything right,
To hug me when Im cold and tell me that they truely care,
Love me reguardless of what other say and always be there,
But everytime I fall in love my heart gets broken once again,
Im starting to hide away from all the constant hurt and pain,
I give up my hopes more easily and I always seem to doubt,
I probably woulden't hear you even if you chose to shout,
Starting to be untouchable again where no one can help me,
Im starting to break down and my vision isn't seen as clearly,
I need to belong somewhere and feel safe and secure,
I use to think I would find it but now im not so sure,
They all say that the person is out there amongst the midnight sky,
I seem to be waiting an eternity to finally find the right guy,
It all just seems so hopeless and maybe it wasn't meant to be,
But if you're really out there would you please come and find me...

Awesome creation here and I commend you for sharing the feelings deep inside your heart which makes for perfect poetry. True Love is the strongest emotion known to man and over rides anything so if its true love go for it cause once gone its usually gone for good. Not many people experience true love as its the kind of love where your heart speaks loudly from the bottom of ones soul so two can grow into one of eternity. Great job. Your friend

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
