My Deepest Dream

Contributed by LadyToya619 on Wednesday, 13th October 2004 @ 05:41:17 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Looking in to your eyes made me think of all the wonderful things that I want to do with you and only you. We been together for a year now and I feel that our love has grown enough for us to start a relationship together and see where it takes us. When I hold your hand and walk together side by side I can only think about what I feel for you and how much you mean to me. When we talk to each other we can talk about almost anything that we want to talk about because that's what being in a relationship is all about. When I lay down to sleep I let you know what's on my heart and my mind and I tell you what I feel. I always knew that you were the one for me and I always knew that I was the one for you. Well baby you know the deal when I get down on my hands and knees and ask you to be my wife someday and make a family. That's when I woke up out of my deepest dream and realize that I love you and only you so remember the day that I ask and maybe someday when the time is right I'll do what I do best.

Well this is a thought more than it's a poem (in my point of view), any way, I like it because it's emotionly written and emotionly presented too, I like the simplicity of the words which adds beauty to the idea presented, Good job and Good luck.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
