He's like an angel
Blonde hair, soft voice
Innocence incarnate
I watch him
Fiddling with the microphone
Lost in thought
flick
He raises his eyebrows as it swings back towards him
Looks up and sees me watching
Smiles
I flush.
Now we're outside, or inside
Watching a movie, listening to music,
or just talking.
Sitting side by side,
So close I can feel his warmth.
Our knees touch
He looks at me, and I don't look away
My arm over his shoulder
Fingers sliding through his hair
His lips
Soft
Slow
Shy, at first
Then, suddenly,
I feel like I found
Something I never thought I could have
"Hi!" he calls, and waves.
