Captivated

Contributed by thewordzwithin on Wednesday, 13th October 2004 @ 03:39:01 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Speechless
I stand utterly speechless
Gasping for air
Because her beauty has all but taken it away
One glance
Has put me in a perpetual trance
Of sheer ecstasy
I feel her presence next to me
If she only knew how much of an impact she has had on my life already
My heart is racing and I can’t keep my hands steady
I look at her and thank God he put her in my life
Because just seeing her makes everything seem right
But I wonder what she thinks of me
I just hope she falls in love with me instantly
I hope I make everyone of her dreams come true
My knees are shaking and my face is turning blue
My eyes are filled with tears
And my heart is filled with love
Because what I’m holding in my hands
Is my beautiful baby girl sent from above
