I'm sorry for the pain
That you always put me through,
I'm sorry for the love I felt
Which you now deny was true,
I'm sorry for the time I spent
When it left us standing here,
I'm sorry that I cared enough
To help you quit the beer,
I'm sorry that I missed you
And cried at your return,
I'm sorry I wasn't good enough
I hope you both will burn,
I'm sorry that I still said yes
when you asked my love that night,
I'm sorry that 2 months later
You once again took flight,
I'm sorry that I screwed up
And became friends with your "crew"
But the one thing I'm never sorry for
Is finally moving past my painful love for you.
