wanting you

Topic: LovePoetry

Wanting you
Defines me
It stipulates my sensuality
In the clothes I choose
And makeup I apply
It smoothes my lines
And feeds my high
It swivels my hip
And enflames my smile
With fantasies of when next we intertwine
Wanting you
Consumes my creativity
It stains my every poem
Taints my every tale
Colors my every painting
Gives rhythm to every song
I wanna free-fall
Into a pool of you
And swim until my limbs ache
I wanna drown in liquid moans
And on my last breath
Choke out your name
I wanna go blind
So I could use my hands
To discover your every nuance
I wanna lick desire from your skin
In droplets of sweet sweat
To quench my thirst
I wanna feed your hunger
With pieces of my flesh
And chunks of my soul
I wanna fill the heavens
With my need for you,
As each implosion
Gives life to new stars
I wanna fold you into me
And never let go
I wanna suck the life from your body
In rivers of pleasure,
Replace it with my own brand of immortality
I wanna fuel the flame in your eyes
With flickers of my own greed
I wanna fall asleep thinking of you,
Dream dreams in eruptions
That erode my dreamscape
And drench me in memories
Of your willingness to please,
And to be pleased
Wanting you
Absorbs the day
Devours night
Gave the sun its fire
And etched your face
In the shadows of the moon
Wanting you
Swallows whole
My every thought and desire
Leaving nothing but the taste of you
Engraved on my soul

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
