SHOWERS OF PRAISE

Let us glorify the Lord with showers of praise raining in the depths of our hearts,

Flooding our souls with joy,

Jesus has given us the victory over him that came to steal, kill and destroy!

Life-everlasting, abundantly, He has given to everyone that will forgive, for then, and then only shall we begin to live!

Rejoice in His mercy and grace, showering Him with showers of praise,

He will never leave or forsake us; He will be with us for all of our days,

We are more-than-conquerors through Him; no enemy can defeat us,

As long as in Him, we put all our trust!

With showers of praise, we shall praise the name of the Lord,

Reigning with righteousness in our hearts, as we rejoice in the glory from above,

Dancing in the delight and favor of God’s unchanging love!

Mighty are we, for we are soldiers in the army of the Lord, warriors of the cross,

Washed and cleansed from all our sins in the blood of the Lamb,

Made ready for battle by the worship and praise that is always upon our lips,

Do whatever God has commanded of you; into the valley of the shadow of death, we all must take a plunging dip!

Lift your voice like a trumpet,

Proclaiming that the Kingdom of God has come with righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost,

With showers of praise, we shall praise the Captain of the Lord’s Host!
