Thoughts of You

Contributed by Nezenic on Tuesday, 12th October 2004 @ 01:40:45 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Crying over the thoughts of tomorrow
Drowning in my tears, hiding my sorrow
I'm needing, I'm craving you so much more
My destitute heart has left itself sore
Do you care if I have nothing to say?
Why can't you tell me you feel the same way?
Can't I shake this off, tell myself to leave?
Is there anybody who feels like me?
Everyday, you appear in my thoughts
Why don't you understand how much I fought?
I have memories, they are killing me
My chest feels like it's been stung by a bee
We used to talk, you'd say nothing but lies
You led this on, started these bloody cries
You're the one person I loved to care for
I wish you had enough love to share more
I have given much thought on this letter
I'll write to you to make me feel better
Should I tell you off or say I'm sorry
Would you sleep that night? Would you think of me?
The morning will come, it will be okay
Do you care if I have nothing to say
I'm needing and craving you so much more
My destitute heart has left itself sore
Read my book about my life and my world
Each page about a boy who loves a girl

This is your best write yet Joe... it's as if you cut open your heart and bled on the paper to communicate the words... *hugs you*

This is a great poem. Sad, truthful and longing. Great job.
