I sit-- afraid of my shadow,
And I know it is because you are not around,
And there is nothing, my heart is hollow,
Except for reminders of your laughter, your words, echoing loud.
And I know I am holding onto false hope,
Our love became dormant long ago,
But I hate this space, where you used to be by my side,
I still wonder why...
(I have too many questions to write...)
(Too many words that fill my mind...)
I wonder if you are thinking of me,
Writing a letter to love, writing these things,
Words held dear, never heard by your ears,
A thousand words, for each million tears.
And I wonder if I will be alone forever,
Or will we be alone together...
So far apart, but hands intertwined,
Spanning the miles, in each others lives...
But...I guess it never helped anybody, asking why...

Is it hard to write a letter, or to even use the phone.

Oh Phil.... I'm in complete agreement with the others. Of course you knew I would be.
This is so incredibly touching. Gosh... I don't even have words enough. It's.... moving - in a gentle, melancholy sort of way. If I had read this while we were hanging out together - I'm quite sure that I would have looked over at you and just started crying... and then.... given you a great big hug.

i started 2 read this, ok dark ink, and flowing verry nice, and then bang, " i hate this space " wow, so i read on, but found my self going back 2 that line, i finished reading it, beautifuly done verry vivid, but most of all, that line, a most unique way of saying i'm lonely that ive heard in long time, btw, that line has a verry frightning conotation 2 it, hope things
