There is this sweetness in the world
That everyone seems to have.
They all got a great big chunk
And I did not even get a little slice.

There is the brightness that lights the world
And every one is living off its light.
It's brightens their days
And I live in the dark.

There is this love in the world
And everyone lives in its beauty.
It keeps them warm at night
and I do not have an even a mangy teddy to keep me company.

There is this color in the world
That everyone wraps themselves in.
It adds peace and happiness to the world
And I am all in black.
