your eyes, so sweetly clouded with lies
you watch, i spiral then I die
you overlook the obvious
it slaughters you
but we make do
you do not know me
this is not my body
an imposter's clever disguise
had you fooled easily
an evil grin
then you're back again
this is not my life
we have yet to meet
you have not found
the reality that I seek
my world becomes a dark maze
drowning beneath and uncomfotable haze
a splinter in my finger
you watch as I grow weaker
your eyes they pierce me
my only shield - a forced smile
my sorrows you file
crazed I break
an innocent devil
exposed but
slightly beveled
