Torn Masquerade

Single where cliques are infinite
In a place with lines of order
My plain, frosty and so creased self
Holds feeling with a false border
Faded scribbles meaning nothing
A dusty black and white photo
With no image but shades of grey
Unlike lines I wish to bestow
Reds roses flow as the ice dew
From the paper cuts without lines
Leaving me behind lost for words
Unable to erase the signs
Crumbled in to the burning flame
With nothing to destroy in me
No cradle for my soul to let go
Plunged into an ever black sea

Very interesting write. I liked it a lot. I'm not sure if I have grasped the meaning of the poem but all the same it is beautiful |
