I so Envy You

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Sunday, 10th October 2004 @ 11:37:48 PM in AEST
Topic: Tributes

I so envy you

More than anyone else

You are beautiful and

Your genius is paramount

And both show on the surface

Of this great presence that I see

I wish I could write like you do

Complex things

About simple day to day life

I wish I could see the world you have

And inspire people like you do

I would not be alive today

If you had not entered my life

I could not write what I do today

If your words had not found my heart

I wish that I could some how

Tell you how much what you do

Means to me both in art and poetry

How much I love the world that you show to me

How much I want to be like you

How truly grateful I am for you

And how much you have inspired me

You are one of the greatest men I know
