Serenity in a misty steam of heaven
Silence all around
Nothing heard but the softness of my breaths:
Inhale.
Exhale.
All is safe, secure.
But then the water runs cold.
I let out a yelp of alarm,
And realize nothing lasts forever.

This is an awesome write. So very true that nothing last forever, sometimes it's good that it does and sometimes it isn't.
