all the fire
that i seek
is the fire
that you keep
for every word
that you have said
i have fallen in love
with the essence
of your smile
so that i may hold
every moment
that i shall spend
with the girl
i dream to have
but lose the race
with all chance
to gain her love
for that in which i seek
is so far
out of reach
and shall always be
so long as i hold the power
and the key
i will only weep
forever and for always
i shall seek
yet only weep
for that in which
i cannot keep

| I have said this to many of the writers in here. Rewrite this at another time and bring out words with passion and thought. I like this poem very much. I will be waiting to see what happens when you rewrite this. Thank you for sharing your thougths. Deep it was. |
