Sorry

Contributed by blackeyedgirl on Sunday, 10th October 2004 @ 04:46:33 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Don't worry.
It won't last long.

Don't scream.
You'll feel better soon.

Relax.

Just go realslow.
Slow but deep.
That's the only way.

Are you getting dizzy?

Thick and dark red.
That's good.
It's almost time.

Is everything blurred?

Just lay back and close your eyes.
Don't worry about whose at the door.
They can't help you now.
Your too far away.

"I'm sorry."

This is a good simple suicide poem, I've read many more complex ones before, it's well presented but isn't a suicide poem should be more complex?!

This is a really sad write espcially because it talks about taking your life...and asking yourself questions? I would be too scared especially when I did try I didnt ask any questions....I dont know where Im getting at but anywho I have written many suicide poems and ones that help others so if you want you can read them *tell me what you think though* but yeah its a good poem and dont worry a poem can be as simple as one stanza its the way one feels its art it doesnt have to be complex just because its about suicide... but yeah thanks for sharing hopefully your thoughts on this have subsided keep your head held high....

much love,
Dani

I liked it, it was like you were talking to yourself, reassuring yourself, making it ok to die. Suicide to me is awful, but your poem was not, i liked it a lot.
