Censor This, You Jackrollin' Dandies.

Contributed by deadreckoning1983 on Sunday, 10th October 2004 @ 01:37:54 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Bitter tongues twisted in the type and font.
Spilling blood with the loosened arrow of words.
Creatures blasting an unwelcome and unflattering message of hope.
Hope resting on our lips,
Like a bullet rests before the hammer.
Waiting to shatter the heirarchy with honesty.
Hauntingly we show up,
A phantom of the Forum,
Disillusioned to the drunken stupidty of rhyme,
No one inflicts us with impunity.
Give us your sickness and infirmaries.
Make us ill, make us suffer, make us hate.
Writing with this disease we will still carry on.
Some of you died without it,
Be we continue with it.
A child of passion and retribution.
You vomited at what we did,
And what we said.
A scroll of honey,
Turned sour on the bowels.
Remember this when you too have died,
And your muse has left.
Cutting her wrists at how pathetic the pain really is,
Sobbing in her room while she burns herself.
Self-inflicted punishment,
For the things she wants to be.
Let the muse die.
Hopeless hearts yearning to bleed for it.
Just let it die.
Finding yourself a grave countenance is all that's left.

Too freakin Cool!

Can't believe it!
Your gift can be so cruel.
This is a spirited attack
spoken as only you could
speak it. I will be reading
this one a million times over.
