Here I sit, sad and lonely,
I wonder what to do,
In my chest, I can feel,
My fervent love for you.

I love the fire burning,
Deep within your eyes,
The passion, the emotion,
From me you can't disguise.

I love the way you understand,
Everything I feel,
Emotions I keep deep inside,
Ones I'm cautious to reveal.

So long have I desired,
To hold you in my arms,
Woe is me, I have fallen,
To your beaty and your charms.

Alas, you are there,
And I, reside here,
From my arms you are so far,
Yet to my heart so near.

The only way I can express my love,
Are words coming from my soul,
Though, without your warm embrace,
I'm not complete, nor whole.

So I sit, and I write
In the night so cold,
For in my heart, your image,
I shall always hold.

So sweet, yet sad. Love is patient, though, and it seems that you are discovering that. I hope that you continue to be patient, and don't jump into anything. At the same time, I hope your heart is made completely happy and content. Love is such a strong emotion, which eats us from the inside out. Good thing you use writing as an escape, so I can enjoy your thoughts too. Full of emotion....nicely done.
