Boredom wraps around me
And I cannot do anything about it.
I sit and stare ahead of me
Hour’s tic-tic-ticking by.
Got a coffee cup in my hand
Full of something I do not even drink.
And I look around my room
And I see holes and dirt, makes me want to cry.
Music blasts out of my computer
A song my friend downloaded
And I hum a different song to myself
And I wish I was a different person.
Hours have passed and I never moved
Sitting around staring at the world
Letting it all pass me by
And I really do not want to go with it.
I sip my coffee and wish mum got me
The one with nine shots of caffeine
Then I would not be so bored.
Then I could have made some fun.
My eyes are closed and I am thinking about
A life that does not belong to me
It is the life of a made up person
That I really wish I could meet.
My life is running away
And I am just sitting here drinking coffee
Wishing I was a different person
But never doing anything about it.
I feel choked and used
all wasted up and useless.
I have done nothing for this world
But pray I could be different.

| thats how i used to feel all of the time. now im such a pessimist, that i figure there is not much anyone can do for the world anymore. and the changing of the world occurs with changing people, and all you do is have to change a few to change the world. |
