last place to turn

Contributed by monophobic on Saturday, 9th October 2004 @ 05:50:22 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

thoughts empty and words meaningless
too far away from who i was to ever go back
i somehow missed the way i was suppose to be
now i can't please anyone that isn't myself
with doing what i want even though its made so many cry
with no real feelings of love i wonder how i got so brain dead
put away in a special place are memories of what use to be
looking in it i cry in shame and wish someone was there to hold me
and now i look to the knife and see it as my only friend
i can't handle the way my life is lived
but i have no choice but to find comfort in pain
because its the only place left to turn
stars shine dark and rainbows turn black
numbness from pills to mend my brokenheart
i believe the world was made so people could feel
and i feel alone without a friend left to care
like having the beautiful ocean view outside
while i'm stuck in a windowless room
with a painting on the wall of what it looks like
and with no door to get out i might never see it
so this is the finial poem to say the least
because no more of this so-called life will i see
this is the end for me
so act like this poem was never read
and act like you never heard of monophobic
because the true meaning of it
is someone thats afraid to be alone
now i embrace the world without life
and like someone you meet at camp
think of me only as a person
you'll never meet or hear from again

This is very sad and I pray it don't mean what I think it does.
Life is worth living.
Hang in there as joy cometh in the morning.
Hugs, luv, faith, hope, joy, peace,
emy

good write. sometimes there are other places to turn, but they dont seem as easy or more painful than the route we take. ::shrugs::

to comment on something you said in this. except for the first few times that i saw your member name it didnt click as to what monphobic meant, but then i realized it was as you said, and i just think of it everytime now. some things you care about now will not matter later, like caring about not being alone. in time you might realize having another person isnt as important...

a very emotional, sad write... and I know exactly what you are going thru, keep your head up high, and keep writing... you have a lot of talent.
