Imagine being a welcome mat
that feeling after being wiped from someone fat...
but because I am in love I can handle that
Being a beautiful woodern leadlight door
the cats claws would damage leaving a sore...
but because I am in love I can handle more
To be a brass door knob
dirty hands would discolour my image into a slob...
but because I am in love I'd grin and bob
If I was a lounge-real leather at that
what if something spilt leaving it looking flat...
but because I am in love I would ignore, not look at
Being a cool refrigerator would be lovely in summer
if the motor causes a spark and my goods to quiver...
but because I am in love I would replace my own liver
Now, what about a toilet seat
I cringe at the thought it wouldn't be a treat...
but because I am in love I'd wait until that smelly job is complete
Toilet paper would be oh the worst
being ripped,then folded or just screwed up -I cursed...
but because I am in love before being flushed be nursed!

Now a nice thing would be a beautiful rose
I could sit in a delicate vase on the table and pose...
and because I am in love I'd stay under your nose
To be a gold band on your ring finger
forever I would stay to linger...
and because I am in love only you I hunger

Truely an unusual poem, yet quite catchy, though I think wether I am in love or not, i will pass on being toilet paper...they goes places, Id rather not smell.
Relly like the layout and style of this poem, and the picture i got, yep this was a cool poem. |
