Dingy water that you
Can't see through.
The smell of tuna and Dawn
Mixed together makes me cringe as I yawn.
For late at night I wash the dishes,
In a daze thinking of life's wishes.
My only thought for now,
Is why and how
Did these dishes get all that stuck
To it? But maybe with some elbow grease and luck
It will come up.
This chore is worst of all,
But to top it all off,
I have to reach into
The cold, raunchy water-
Into the unknown of
Mac-n-cheese and pork grease.
This chore is why my parents had me.
