My vision is blurry,
Blocked by the tears,
Streaming down my face.
I can't seem to stop.
Unsure of why I'm crying.
Maybe, I've finally cracked.
Gave up on all that's good.
Maybe it's for the best.
I'll curl up into a ball,
And cry till I run out of tears.
Till I fall asleep,
And can leave this life I lead.
Retreat to a place I'm safe.
Where my dreams reside.
But wait, even there isn't safe anymore.
It's plagued.
Shattered.
All my hopes and dreams.
Gone.
Replaced by lies and deceit.
I'm in a nightmare.
I want to wake up.
Stop this now.
But...I'm already awake.
