A heart not worth redeeming
A love with no meaning.
Eyes mirror failure.
Pleasant times are but a blur.
Memories are disposed.
And where are you?
Heaven only knows.
These tears are cried in vain.
Etched in my thoughts is your name.
Inside my head is a living hell.
Your secrets you could never tell.
My face plead you to put trust in me.
But your eyes refused to see.
A body tenses underneath your fingertips.
A breath is robbed from your kiss.
Uneasy nights.
Petty fights.
No point of return.
I guess we will never learn.
Wounds, both shallow and deep
always seemed to rob me of sleep.
The ignorant promote fear
My heart bleeds with tears.
Still confused.
Did I really have much to lose?
Yes, you are gone, but what does it mean?
Is there a flaw I have overseen?
I love you more than you will ever know.
But still, you are the one who let go.

Sounds like you have experienced and are experiencing a lot of emotional pain. I pity you. I wonder why he does not trust you? Maybe he was hurt before too. It does take a heart a long time to heal. Strong poem.
